Yikes, a typo in the first sentence after it was proofread and proofread. Goes to show! Thanks to my friend who pointed it out.

I'm 70 and just resigned from my job. Too much drama and I realized that I'm old enough that I don't need to deal with it anymore. I expect to continue working, as your article says "until I die".

Great perspective! The theme of relevance has always struck a chord with us. We have seen too many bright people disengage with the world and stop growing which seemed like a loss to both them and the world. We believe the world of finance needs Herb Greenberg’s input. So, what do you have planned for your 80s?

It's corny but oft-repeated for a reason. If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.

Good. The world and financial markets need the professional skepticism and people willing to call a spade, a spade.

I'm 53 (54 in August). I walked away from 9-5 at 49 years old and have been doing short term contract work and some content creation in the stock world since then. Kudos for not wanting to retire. I had 3 friends walk away from the working world with me in 2020 and all 3 went back to work once they had their "to do" list done. I found my to do list continues to grow and for me the key to a good retirement is just to stay excited about tomorrow and what it has to offer. It sounds like you know exactly what's exciting so congrats.

Herb what are you going to take for your next step? Sounds like you’re not ready to retire.
