Seems like most pundits have moved from 100% chance of recession in 4Q22 to almost no chance of a recession in 4Q23. As most readers of Herb know, the majority is almost always wrong. Protection is really cheap right now.
Great article! I recognized something you said that reminded me of my father. When he started teaching me about investing in the stock market, he had two sayings that he would repeat.
"Never confuse Brains with a bull market" and, "Watch after the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves."
